Erica Hodgson

CMInstD

Erica has worked in healthcare for over 20 years, as both clinician and leader at local and national levels in mental health and wellbeing, service design, business development and workforce strategy. Now a healthcare and governance consultant, she works with organisations across the regulatory, public and not-for-profit sectors, providing guidance and support to improve their performance and outcomes. She currently sits on the Lotteries Commission and has experience across the range of committees and roles available on boards, including several chair appointments.

Erica holds degrees in Psychology and Organisational Management, and Occupational Therapy, plus a PG(Dip) in Leadership and Management. She is a trained executive coach and provides professional guided reflection in supervision to leaders and managers, bringing a strengths-based lens to professional development.

Erica firmly believes that board tables should be representative of the people and skills in our wider community. After taking a ‘non-traditional’ path to directorships, she loves to support others to bring their own unique lens to a sector that is rapidly evolving.
