Overview

The Canterbury Branch of the Institute of Directors (IoD) and Te Kura Umanga | University of Canterbury Business School are pleased to invite you to an inaugural Māori governance hui.

The purpose of this hui is to create opportunity for whanaungatanga among people in (and interested in) governance roles, and to hear and learn from our speakers and attendees.

We are delighted to announce that the hui will include a panel comprised of well-known leaders Hana O’Regan and Barry Bragg MInstD who will share their thoughts with us on What is Māori governance? The panel discussion will be facilitated by the IoD’s National Council member Jim Mather CFInstD. After an opportunity for questions, there will be a short session of table group discussions on the topic.

This is a wonderful opportunity to engage with Māori governors known to you and to meet new governors, to connect and form relationships.
