Board Packs

To support boards in their ongoing development we have created a series of Board Packs which have been designed to help boards learn about key governance topics together. Each pack includes a variety of resources that will enable your board to discuss, debate, and plan approaches on a range of topics and issues facing boards and directors today. 

Board Packs are designed to support your boards in a variety of ways including:

    • Providing practical and customisable resources and governance templates
    • Initiating discussion around an issue at a committee or Board meeting
    • Setting direction at a board meeting
    • Facilitating discussion at a strategy day
    • Supporting enhanced accountability and transparency
    • Enhancing disclosures and reporting


The topics have been curated to allow your board to spend time focussing on relevant issues rather than searching for trusted information and each pack includes the following:

  • Thought starter: A quick capture of the topic
  • How to use this board pack: A quick one-page guide for the documents included in the board pack and how to use them
  • Overview: To provide detailed information and concepts about the topic
  • Board paper template: A draft and editable board paper which can be used to introduce the topic
  • Presentation slide deck: An editable slide deck for presenting at your next board meeting and/or to include in your board papers
  • Discussion questions: Some questions for your board to consider and to ignite discussion
  • Other resources and templates may be included for some topics

You can easily download the Board Pack and share it with your board members, to enhance your board’s knowledge and effectiveness.

We are currently offering a Conflict of interests Board Pack. This pack includes information to help your board understand, identify, declare and manage conflict of interests effectively.
