Join us for a free online information session to find out all you need to know about Chartered Membership.  Our Membership Advisor, Tariga Hunt, Membership Manager, Bev-Ann Jennings and Branch Manager, Becky Hare will present valuable insights on the application process and assessment, and how we can support you on your pathway to Chartered Membership, Sam Fellows, CMInstD will share his first-hand experience in completing the Chartered Member Assessment and upgrading to Chartered Member.

Sam Fellows

CMInstD

Sam is the Manager, City Partnerships at Tauranga City Council. He also advises and sits on several boards and committees.

Sam was a runner up in the Institute of Directors Bay of Plenty Branch Emerging Director Award 2019 and became a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors in 2024.

He is currently Chair of the Bay of Plenty Branch of the Institute of Directors and sits on the IoD National Council. Additionally, he is Chair of Bethlehem School, Momenta Charitable Trust, Deputy Chair of the Bay of Plenty Rugby Union and sits on the Boards of Camp Quality New Zealand and One Fine Day Landscape Design. He is a member of the New Zealand Sports Tribunal.

Away from work and governance, Sam spends time with his young family in Tauranga and is a New Zealand High Performance referee.
