Overview

Kordia’s independent cyber security consultancy, Aura, have a team of ethical hackers who conduct regular penetration tests for businesses to help identify vulnerabilities before they can be exploited by cyber-criminals.

In this session, Aura Information Security GM Patrick Sharp will introduce Dr Frans Lategan, Principal Security Consultant at Aura Information Security, to share his experience as an ethical hacker.

Frans will discuss differences between penetration testing and cyber-attacks, and why doing well against a pen test is not a panacea against cyber-attacks. This is an opportunity to ask a cyber security strategist what they are seeing, and to understand practical steps that you can take to assess the risk of cyber breaches to your business.
