Take advantage of this unique opportunity to observe governance in action and refine your skills in a supportive learning environment. No previous governance experience is required to participate.

March/April programme details:

Watch a recorded session of the Christchurch City Council’s Finance and Performance Committee meeting.
Participate in an in-person workshop at the Christchurch Civic Building with:
o Cr Sam MacDonald (Committee Chair)
o David Corlett (Committee Secretary)
Engage in guided discussions led by experienced directors, helping you analyse and apply governance insights.

Wednesday 2 April 4:30pm	Attend workshop in the Civic Building, 53 Hereford Street (Committee room, level 2)	Meet with Committee Chair Cr Sam MacDonald and Committee Secretary David Corlett for Q & A and discussion	3 hrs
6:30pm	Thirsty Peacock	Reflection over drinks and nibbles
		Total time commitment	5 hrs
