Overview
Addressing climate change is going to take collaboration across all parts of business and the economy. For a board getting the right CEO in place – and developing a strong, shared vision – is an essential precursor to effective climate action. But do you know what that looks like from a CEO’s perspective?
In this session, three CEOs will provide their perspectives on climate leadership and working with their boards on the shared challenge.
Learn what management is likely to want, or to need, in order to deliver on a board’s climate goals, and to identify and seize business opportunities. And hear how leading New Zealand businesses are addressing the climate challenge and protecting their long-term value.
Guest speakers Minister Simon Watts and Dame Therese Walsh join this special Chapter Zero breakfast event, followed by a panel of CEOs whose industries span banking, energy and the primary sector in a robust and insightful discussion about strategic alignment, risk management, sustainable business models, stakeholder expectations and where boards can truly add value.
This is event is proudly supported and sponsored by ASB.
