IoD Pacific Advisory Group
The IoD Pacific Advisory Group was established in 2022 to enable the Institute of Directors to support Pacific directors at both the governance and operational levels.
Our mission is to promote good governance for a strong New Zealand. We believe that good governance requires authentic diversity of thought around every board table, and that it is representative of the cultural diversity on which Aotearoa New Zealand’s communities are built.
The IoD is committed to supporting greater involvement, empowerment and visibility of Pacific people in governance and championing the value of board diversity as a key to better decision making.
As an organisation, we are open to different practices of governance and experiences, and welcome partnerships with diverse groups to create a measurable impact across the director community.
This work is led and driven through co-creation with the Pacific community to ensure it has a values-based foundation, is culturally relevant, and meets the needs of all stakeholders.
