Brett Hewlett, Chair of Comvita Ltd (NZX:CVT), will explore the role boards can play in developing a sustainable growth strategy.
Most organisations struggle to find a sustainable strategic path that can strike a balance between building resilience and building better more prosperous enterprise.
Short term survival instincts and knee jerk reactions to shocks or external pressures to perform can divert the organisation into downwardly spiralling situations that may be unrecoverable. A steady hand at the helm and clarity of the long term objectives is required to steer through troubled waters.
Brett will share a few tips and tricks on how boards can play a role in helping the organisation both survive and strive.
