Overview

Join international negotiation expert Professor Ingemar Dierickx for an insightful discussion on navigating today’s shifting geopolitical landscape. Using established negotiation frameworks, he will examine the strategies behind U.S. tariffs, global trade retaliation, and efforts to resolve the war in Ukraine.

Gain valuable perspectives on how New Zealand—our leaders, businesses, and organisations—can navigate these complexities, mitigate risks, and leverage opportunities in an increasingly uncertain world.

This session is designed for governance and business leaders looking to stay ahead in a high-stakes global environment.

Fireside chats are small group events where questions and discussion are actively encouraged. Due to the potentially sensitive nature of matters discussed, the Chatham House Rule will apply.  Numbers are strictly limited.
