Overview

The green transition is rapidly becoming a critical driver of innovation and investment decisions for organisations. A recent survey found that 92% of executives believe the green transition is crucial for success, and 65% of companies have already integrated green transition strategies into their strategic planning (OECD, 2024). The academic literature highlights numerous examples of successful green transition innovations, but implementing these solutions can be challenging due to various barriers, including financial constraints and resistance to change.

In this session, hosted by branch sponsor UC Business School, Dr Jeandri Robertson will explore how the green transition is shaping the future of innovation and investment, discussing the opportunities and challenges that organisations face in adopting green transition practices and technologies.

Directors' Deep Dive events are smaller interactive discussion-style sessions where you will be encouraged to ask questions and actively contribute your perspectives.
