Matt is a director at Kia Ora AI and chairs the AI Forum of New Zealand's working group on generative AI. He holds governance roles across aged care, the arts, and technology.
Through Kia Ora AI, which is dedicated to accelerating the practical adoption of generative AI in New Zealand organisations, Matt collaborates with boards and executive teams to explore the role of AI in governance and decision-making.
A sought-after presenter, Matt is known for his ability to demystify complex AI topics, delivering clear and engaging insights to cross-sector audiences.
Campbell Featherstone is a Partner in Dentons New Zealand’s Technology practice. He is a technology, privacy and general commercial lawyer, who provides advice on the use and procurement of technology, privacy and data protection, software agreements (including SaaS), IP licensing and consumer and marketing law compliance. His practice addresses the intersection of law and technology, and he is often engaged to advise on the application of existing privacy, consumer protection, and other laws on novel technologies such as wearables, AI, and virtual reality.
Campbell has worked in in the United Kingdom, the Middle East, and New Zealand, and as such he has experience with multi-jurisdictional issues. He has been involved in global product launches and has coordinated advice from lawyers from around the world in order to deliver a consistent and accurate brief of legal issues affecting each market.
Campbell has a keen interest in the use of legal technology as part of his and the Firm’s own practice, including through the use of AI and contract automation tools, and he is the lead partner on Dentons New Zealand’s AI steering committee.
As Principal Advisory Consultant for Kordia’s specialist cyber security division Aura Information Security, Alastair is responsible for helping a wide range of organisations transform their approach to security. His experience spans more than two decades in information security across both enterprise and government.
Alastair started his career at British Telecom in the United Kingdom. Since moving to New Zealand, he has held key security roles with Dimension Data, Spark and was most recently Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at NSP.
His expertise spans a wide range of security related fields including cloud security architecture, security operations centres (SOC) / SIEM, privacy and governance. He has numerous qualifications in the advisory space including CISM, CISSP, CIPM, CRISC and CGEIT. He also has particular expertise in the specific data security needs of the healthcare industry.
Alastair is a respected thought leader in the cyber security industry, a finalist in the 2022 iSANZ awards for Best Senior Security Practitioner and is regularly called upon by media and government to provide commentary and advice.

Kirsten Patterson MNZM (known as KP) is the Chief Executive of the Institute of Directors and is a Chartered Member of the IoD. In 2025 she was awarded the New Zealand Royal Honour, Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit (MNZM) for services to governance and women. She is a qualified lawyer and a Distinguished Fellow of the Human Resources Institute of New Zealand, Chair of the Global Network of Directors Institutes (GNDI), and a member of the New Zealand External Reporting Advisory Panel (XRAP). She serves on the Boards of the mental health charity, Voices of Hope, is Chair of the Brian Picot Ethical Leadership Advisory Board at Victoria University in Wellington and an Ambassador for the Wellington Women’s Homeless Trust.
A strong advocate of diversity, KP is a member of Global Women New Zealand and was one of the founding members of Global Women’s ‘Champions for Change’, a group of senior executives and directors who commit to diversity in the workplace. KP was the founder and is Executive Sponsor for Chapter Zero New Zealand – the New Zealand Chapter of the World Economic Forum’s Climate Governance Initiative - hosted by the IoD NZ to mobilise, connect, educate and equip directors and boards to make climate-smart governance decisions, thereby creating long term value for both shareholders and stakeholders.

Nagaja Sanatkumar has over 25 years’ global executive and leadership experience. Her international career focused on software information technology at scale, including senior roles at Amazon and Expedia. She has led digital information technology solutions and customer experience innovation for eCommerce retail, travel, and financial services products.
Nagaja studied Chemical Engineering at IIT Bombay before moving to the US for a consulting role with Deloitte. Nagaja completed her MBA from the University of Washington in 2003 and a Masters in Sustainable Development Goals from Massey University in 2023. She is a Chartered Member of the NZ Institute of Directors.
Nagaja is currently serves as a director on the boards of Meridian Energy Limited, ANZ Bank New Zealand, Southern Cross Medical Care Society, Southern Cross Healthcare, and Tuatahi First Fibre Ltd.
Tim is founder and principal at Generative AI strategy consultancy GEN8, providing strategy, training and governance to complex teams worldwide; from household names on the NASDAQ, ASX or FTSE through to innovative government agencies. In parallel, he develops and teaches ‘AI for Marketers’ at online business school Section. Prior to founding GEN8, Tim led APAC programs for Meta after close to a decade at digital agencies across the region.
Michael took up the role of Privacy Commissioner in July 2022.
Commissioner Webster’s career has focused on enabling and driving good governance, the promotion of democratic rights and values, the development and application of codes of conduct and behaviour, and working to ensure compliance with both statutory provisions and constitutional conventions.
Since taking up the role, Commissioner Webster has focused on ensuring the Office of the Privacy Commissioner is equipped to deliver on its vision of making privacy a core focus for agencies, in order to protect the privacy of individuals, enable agencies to achieve their own objectives, and safeguard a free and democratic society. That has seen a strengthening of the compliance and enforcement function, a focus on delivering on the Office’s regulatory stewardship responsibilities and advocating for a regulatory framework and Privacy Act that’s fit for purpose in the digital age.
