Overview

Join Kris Cooper CMInstD, a Distinguished Fellow of Human Resources NZ, for a thought-provoking fireside chat on navigating HR matters as a board member.

This session will delve into case studies that address the complexities of HR issues. For example, what should the board do when staff bypass management to raise allegations about the manager's working style?

Through an engaging kōrero, Kris will explore the boundaries of governance and management roles, discuss when to involve specialist advice, and offer guidance to prevent exacerbating these situations.

Bring your questions and experiences for an interactive discussion that will provide valuable insights for board members of NFPs and other governance settings.

Fireside chats are small group events where questions and discussion are actively encouraged. Due to the potentially sensitive nature of matters discussed, the Chatham House Rule will apply.  Numbers are strictly limited
